Commercial Lines Insurance

Boyd Insurance is pleased to provide full coverage for your business. From the initial startup company to large corporations, we will consult, analyze, and secure customized coverage for your business. Transferring risk to an insurance company is often the most efficient way to protect your corporate assets and human resources.

Boyd Insurance has relationships with well-known admitted carriers, as well as access to a number of specialty markets. Lines of coverage include, but are not limited to:

Business Owners Policy (BOP): A package policy that provides both property and liability coverage for eligible small businesses. BOPs are written on special coverage forms that are generally very similar to their monoline property and liability form counterparts, but they typically have some unique features that make them especially advantageous for businesses that qualify.

Commercial Auto: Much like personal auto, commercial auto can cover liability, collision and comprehensive, personal injury protection and coverage for uninsured motorists.

Commercial Property: Property insurance protects your business against physical damage to, or loss of, your assets, including the area of operation and property housed there. In the case of catastrophes like fire, explosion, theft, or vandalism, property insurance helps cover your costs - whether it's to repair damaged property or replace what you've lost.

Data Breach (Cyber Liability): A data breach can occur when electronic equipment fails and/or sensitive data is stolen or leaked. This coverage can help you recover some of the costs associated with the breach, such as customer notification, business interruption, PR and crisis management, and several other requirements. General Liability:
Coverage against third party liability claims arising from your premises, products, operations, or advertising.

Workers Compensation: No-fault statutory benefits prescribed in state law, which are provided by an employer to an employee  due to a job-related injury, including death, resulting from an accident or occupational disease.
Directors and Officers Liability (D&O): Protects the personal assets of the directors & officers from suits alleging wrongful acts such as negligence, defamation, unfair trade practices, breach of contract and fraud brought by employees, shareholders, customers or suppliers.

Employment Practices Liability (EPLI):
Liability insurance for employers that covers wrongful termination, discrimination, or sexual harassment toward the insured's employees or former employees.
