Learn More About – Coreen Klein

Tell us a little bit about your background. (Where did you go to school, where are you from, etc.)
I grew up in Niagara Falls, New York then moved to Buffalo, NY where I attended Buffalo State College for most of my college years while also spending a few years at the University of South Carolina. A couple years after graduating from college, I got married and my husband and I moved Florida. I have lived in Bradenton, FL. for 20 years now and we love it.
What does a day in your life look like on the job? 
I am responsible for assisting our Financial Advisor in many areas of our financial planning practice, including answering in-bound calls, preparing new account and service paperwork, managing our Epic computer software system, providing customer service both in person and over the phone, facilitating and resolving client service requests, scheduling client meetings, generating and mailing correspondence, and completing other administrative tasks as assigned.
What is your favorite memory from work?
My favorite memory from work is our group luncheons, and outings together. It really builds close relationships with our team here at Boyd Insurance and Investments.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three children, family and friends. We spend our time together at the beaches, riding on our jet ski’s, traveling, going to sporting events, the movies, out to dinner, and gathering for home cook outs.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Start each day with a grateful heart and your life will feel fulfilled.
What’s a common question you get from clients?
I generally get questions from our clients about how to make changes to their accounts which I enjoy assisting them with getting the tasks completed.

Where is your favorite spot to take visitors in Manatee County?
Anna Maria Island is a treasured area in Manatee County to take visitors.
