Tell us a little bit about your background. (Where did you go to school, where are you from, etc.
I have lived in Manatee County since I was little and grew up in Ellenton/Palmetto area. I was a banker in my first career before transitioning to the insurance industry. Married to Steve, son KC, granddaughter Jasmine.
What are your key accomplishments in your field/ on the job?
I am proud to have obtained three licenses; P&C, Life & Health, and Surplus Lines. These licenses give me the tools to assist current and potential clients to protect themselves from financial catastrophe.
After 21 years in the mortgage industry, it was time for a change. Much of the knowledge from banking/lending was transferrable to the insurance industry.
Tell us about your approach to customer service.
Most clients do not understand insurance or the importance of having it. I like to teach them why it is important to insure properly.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Set goals. If you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there.
