Learn More About – Jeff Chapin

Tell us a little bit about your background. 
I have been a Manatee County resident since the age of 3, graduated from Manatee High School in 1988, and moved back here to live permanently shortly after college. I was Banker for 24 years of my career and decided to leave that industry to pursue something new.
What are your key accomplishments in your field/ on the job?
I am new to the field so I am constantly learning new things. My biggest accomplishment so far was securing my first six-figure account.
Why did you choose to work in this industry?
I was looking for something that I could do that related to my client base from my time as a Banker.
Tell us about your approach to customer service.
I try to always be available and accessible to clients. All of my customers have my cell phone number and I tell them to call me anytime from 7am to 7pm.
What would your pet say about you if we asked for a reference?
My pets are the 14 squirrels and the birds that I feed in my yard. I believe they would say that they love me.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Listen first, you don’t learn anything by talking.
What’s the last song you listened to?
Life is short make it sweet by Old Dominion.
