Tell us a little bit about your background.
I was born at Manatee Memorial and lived in Manatee County my entire life. After graduating from Florida State University and came back to join the family insurance agency. I was City Councilman and Mayor of Palmetto in late 80’s and served in the FL House of Representatives from 2010-2018.
What are your key accomplishments in your field/ on the job?
I received the Accredited Advisor in Insurance in 1985, served on the Florida Association of Independent Insurance Agents board and have participated in various Insurance Company partner’s advisory boards.
Why did you choose to work in this industry?
I always have enjoyed helping people and we provide a service that protects the lives and assets of our clients. We are also there when the worst happens to help them put their lives and possessions back together.
Tell us about your approach to customer service.
My approach to customer service is to treat clients how I would like to be treated, establish strong relationships, and always respond & communicate with clients.
What would your pet say about you if we asked for a reference?
They would say that I’m forgiving, easy to get along with, and a good friend.
